Hi Everyone!
Dionne here — visual artist (painter), curator, and hairdresser. I’m excited to open my hair studio, Studio Dionne at Octopus Heart and to welcome you from the beginning of May 2025!
Alongside my artistic practice, I’ve been a hairdresser for over 15 years. I love blending both worlds — for me, cutting hair is like sculpting with a different material. I specialise in natural, lived-in cuts that grow out beautifully and suit your hair’s natural texture. I cut dry, so we can see how the hair moves and evolves during the process. Cutting your hair in a way it falls naturally, so that you won’t need to style it everyday, but you can wear it naturally. Of course, a little extra styling can be fun for a special occasion, but having the right haircut for your hair and personality on a daily basis is key. No rushed appointments — I take the time to understand your hair and your wishes. All hair types welcome: curly, straight, long, short, etc!
I speak fluent English and Dutch. Still learning French, it’s not perfect yet, but I speak quite some!
